About Dunn Housing Authority

The Planning Board is made up of seven members, six reside inside the City limits and one resides within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). The Planning Board meets at 6:3 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers located at 41 E. Broad Street. The meetings are open to the public. The Planning Board is responsible for reviewing all development proposals for rezonings, and other development-related requests, and offers recommendations on these to the City Council. The Planning Board also develops and recommends revisions and additions to the City's Zoning Ordinance.


Mission Statement

The City of Dunn Boards and Commissions provide a way that its residents can participate in the governments of their City. The City Council regulates, sets terms of offices and establishes the duties for certain Boards and Commissions.

Members are appointed by the majority of the City Council. This allows interested citizens to submit their names and qualifications for consideration.
